Waste of money since it is unplayable. The app store support link takes me to a web site that shows a bunch of games that are no deathspank. Maybe one day they will support my computer…. I loved Deathspank, and I loved Thongs of Virtue. I was happy to pay for them, and I really thought that their value was immense for the cost.
I bought The Baconing without hesitation. I'm a bit disappointed with it, overall. The combat is often times way too hard, and leaves the player depleting themselves of healing items - if they aren't defeated, in which case they will respawn frustratingly far from the spot of the character's death. The graphics are wonderful the best of the three games but the worlds seem tedious and uninteresting compared to the other two.
The flow is very linear and takes from the length and part of the fun of revisiting other parts of the map. Also, the missions are either way too easy, or way too drawn out and confusing. Again, not a bad game, but definitely not what I had hoped for when compared to its predecessors. I laughed as much as many hours as I spent playing the game. You instantly fall in Love with DeathSpank. His Hilarious Dialogue portrays him as an aloof, but congenial hero. The quests are fun.
I never got the feeling that I was being pushed around from quest to quest just to pass the time.
